Built for a multichain world
Out of the box, the extension supports Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Blast, ZKsync, Zora Network, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Celo – and shows all of your tokens across networks in one place, so you never need to switch chains to see your assets.
In fact, you don’t need to manually switch chains at all. We’re excited to launch with Auto Network functionality – the extension automatically switches chains based on the application you’re using. Never manually approve network changes again.
We’ll continue to add features to support simple, secure access to any chain on the extension, with custom RPC capabilities and in-app bridging coming soon.
Secure self-custody
Uniswap Extension is a self-custody wallet. While you are responsible for your assets, we've taken steps to make the extension as secure as possible, including audits by Trail of Bits. We’ve also made the wallet source code available for anyone to review.
While audits and source-available code contribute to the Uniswap Wallet's security, please practice caution when managing your assets and signing transactions. More on how to stay safe using a self-custody wallet here.
How to start using the Uniswap Extension
Uniswap Extension is available now on Chrome. To add Uniswap Extension to your browser, visit the Chrome Web Store and select “Add to Chrome”.
Once you’ve added the extension, you’ll be ready to set up your account. If you have the Uniswap mobile app already installed on your phone, you can scan the QR code to import your account – no need to type in a seed phrase or private key. New users can import an existing seed phrase from another wallet or create a new account.
