Token Auctions are Coming to the Uniswap Web App

#Products

We developed Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCA) as a permissionless protocol to help teams bootstrap liquidity on Uniswap v4 and find the market price for new and low-liquidity tokens.

Now, we’re bringing CCAs to the Uniswap Web App so users can easily discover auctions, place bids, and claim tokens directly from the interface. The Auctions tab will go live on the Explore page February 2nd and will show ongoing and upcoming CCAs.

For new assets, this means users can participate at the auction stage before tokens are widely available for trading on the interface. For existing assets, this means teams can use the same mechanism to distribute supply and bootstrap liquidity.

Better Token Distributions with CCA

Liquidity formation often happens behind closed doors, creating information gaps and thin, unstable markets once tokens trade openly. With CCA, auctions run fully onchain, with transparent pricing, bidding, and settlement. Supply clears continuously over time to reduce sniping, limit volatility, and converge toward a price shaped by demand. When the auction ends, liquidity is automatically created on Uniswap v4 at the discovered price.

An Interface that Works for Token Teams and Swappers

Starting February 2nd, ongoing and upcoming CCAs will be automatically indexed and displayed in a single interface on the Uniswap Web App. For users, this makes CCAs easier to discover and bid on, with a consistent view of what’s happening across auctions.

  • A familiar interface for bidding. Each auction surfaces standardized information like timing, committed volume, and recent activity. You can follow progress and place bids directly from a UI you already know.
  • One place to track what’s live and what’s next. Live and upcoming CCAs appear together under the Auctions tab, so you can keep up with multiple auctions without jumping between sites.
  • Early access to tokens at the auction stage. For new assets, Auctions makes it possible to bid before trading is widely available on the Uniswap interface, with price discovery happening transparently over time.

For token teams, the Auctions tab means CCAs automatically have an interface for users to participate in token auctions – no more time spent building out bespoke frontends or testing custom interfaces. Auctions are displayed in the Web App in accordance with Uniswap Labs policies.

CCA is Already Working

In November 2025, Aztec ran the first token distribution using a Continuous Clearing Auction, raising $60 million from more than 17,000 bidders with no instances of sniping or automated manipulation detected. The entire auction happened fully onchain, giving participants a real-time view into how the market formed.

But CCAs weren't built for a single use case. They can be used to distribute supply, bootstrap liquidity, or establish a market price for assets with limited existing liquidity.

What’s Next

The Continuous Clearing Auction protocol contracts are already live today on Ethereum, Unichain, Arbitrum, and Base. Auctions will be available on the Uniswap Web App starting February 2nd.
