We’re excited to announce Uniswap Web and Wallet have integrated Blockaid’s token validation to provide token warnings and labels for Uniswap users.
We firmly believe that users should have the freedom and flexibility to access DeFi and to self-custody their funds. While Uniswap Labs does not control what tokens are available on Uniswap Protocol, we’re committed to shipping features to help users safely navigate a diverse token landscape with confidence. Token warnings are our most recent step forward in that effort.
Token warnings and info labels
Powered by Blockaid, the new token warnings and labels display across Uniswap products. Blockaid’s token validation methodology uses a combination of dynamic and static heuristics, AI, and machine learning models to help DeFi users make well-informed decisions.
Here are some warnings you can expect to see when navigating and swapping on Uniswap Web and Wallet:
Impersonator labels
These warnings flag potential impersonator tokens as identified by Blockaid.
100% sell fee detected
These warnings flag tokens identified with a 100% fee sell. These and any other warning messages are intended to provide more information about tokens and do not constitute investment advice or a recommendation about any particular token.

Making DeFi more user-friendly
We’re constantly adding new features to help Uniswap users navigate DeFi with confidence. With the rollout of new token warnings and labels, Uniswap users now have more data to make informed decisions.
