Today we’re excited to announce that Uniswap users can now swap and provide liquidity on the long-awaited Monad testnet in the Uniswap wallet and web app.
Uniswap on Monad: testnet first, mainnet next
Monad is a new L1 blockchain built to support up to 10,000 transactions per second, with one-second block times, and single-slot finality. Its highly anticipated mainnet is coming soon, but users don’t have to wait – swapping and LPing are live on testnet today.
To use Monad testnet, open the latest version of the Uniswap wallet or the Uniswap web app. Select the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen (if using the Uniswap web app, you will need to click the wallet icon first). Within settings, enable the ‘Testnet mode’ option. Once enabled, you’ll be able to access swapping and LPing on Monad testnet.
Swapping on Monad testnet
To start swapping on Monad testnet, select ‘Swap’ in the wallet, or go to app.uniswap.org/swap. From there, select the network button, and choose Monad testnet.
Providing liquidity on Monad testnet
Users looking to LP on Monad testnet can visit the Pool Page and select Monad testnet in the network dropdown to get started. Then click ‘New’, and you’ll be able to select the tokens you want to add liquidity for, confirm the fee tier, price range, and deposit amount, and then submit your transaction.
How to get testnet tokens in your wallet
To use Monad testnet, you will need to fund your wallet with testnet tokens. You can request testnet tokens using Monad’s official faucet at testnet.monad.xyz.
