Aggregator Hooks are Now Live

#Protocols

#Products

Uniswap v4 is now an aggregator. Aggregator Hooks wrap external liquidity sources, turning them into v4 pools. They're live today in the Uniswap Web App and API on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain. Seven sources are available at launch, covering more than 90% of DEX activity on these chains.

Building aggregation into v4

Most onchain liquidity is already on Uniswap. It's the largest decentralized exchange by volume, with more than $4.5 trillion swapped. Even so, new liquidity can still form elsewhere. Aggregator Hooks bring it in, benefiting the protocol. Outside sources become v4 pools, and swaps routed through them pay protocol fees, contributing to UNI burn.

How Aggregator Hooks work

Each Aggregator Hook wraps an external source in a Uniswap v4 hook, so that any router sees it as a Uniswap pool. Every block, the router pulls fresh quotes from the connected sources. When you swap, it builds the most efficient route from everything it can see, across both Uniswap pools and outside sources. The whole route settles in a single transaction, with nothing new to approve.

Get started

Swaps on the Uniswap Web App include external liquidity sources automatically. If you’re building with the Uniswap API, you can now route through Aggregator Hooks on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain.
