TJAR: Onchain Fee Conversion for Any App

#Protocols

#Products

Apps that charge fees are paid in whatever tokens their users trade. That can add up to millions of different tokens across chains. Today, converting all those assets often means building custom infrastructure.

TJAR lets apps receive fees in a single token. Apps deposit their fees into a Token Jar. Searchers compete to convert them, and the app automatically receives fees in its chosen token.

The Token Jar framework was first built for Uniswap Protocol fees. Last month, it handled more than $15.3M in conversions. Now, any team can use the same system. TJAR is live across seven chains, with more to come.

How TJAR works

You pick the token you want to receive fees in, set a price, and choose where it goes. Fees collect in your jar in whatever tokens come in.

  1. A searcher pays the price you set, in the tokens you choose

  2. The jar releases its contents to the searcher

  3. The chosen token goes to the destination you set

Anyone can set up a token jar in a single transaction. You can change the token, price, and destination at any time, or choose to lock settings permanently.

TJAR

Built for enterprise scale

Robinhood is already using TJAR across its supported chains for fees collected through the Uniswap API. Fees are converted as they come in, and Robinhood receives fees from its jars in USDC and USDG.

The same setup works for any app, hook, chain or API integration with fees.
